PUBLIC NOTICE

Special Council Meeting - 6:00 p.m. December 17, 2024

The Village of Kaslo will be holding a Special Council Meeting in Council Chambers in City Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Among other topics on the agenda is a Committee of the Whole discussion regarding the proposed South Beach RV Park.

The meeting will include an introduction from staff, followed by a presentation from the proponent. There will then be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions of Council. Council will discuss the proposal and, after discussion, may choose to take action on the matter.

Please note that there is limited space available in Council Chambers, so members of the public are encouraged to participate online, using the following Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/4857930110

Any members of the public wanting to speak at the meeting must sign up on the Speaker List at the start of the meeting (in-person attendees), or use the “raise hand” function and ensure that their first and last names are clearly indicated on Zoom. A total of 30 minutes will be allocated for public questions, and the Mayor will call upon speakers individually. All comments must be addressed to the Mayor, and each speaker, after stating their name and community of residence for the record, will be allowed a maximum of one minute to state their question. To ensure that Council is able to hear from a broad selection of the public, please limit your introductory remarks and do not repeat questions that have already been asked.
