Kaslo announced as being one community to receive the new service of Community Paramedic.

April 2016 Primary Care clinic hours are to remain the same for now.
December 2015, Official notice from IH about the primary care clinic's hours expanding to 7 days/week in April. The Healthcare Select Committee is continuing to work with Doctors and Interior Health to look at options for also expanding ER hours.

A Public Health Forum was held on Dec. 9 2015 in Kaslo, hosted by Mayor Suzan Hewat and Director Aimee Watson with reps from BC-EHS and IHA there to answer questions from the public.

Preface to the Ross Report: Review of the Role of Emergency Services at the Victorian Community Health Centre of Kaslo, BC Dr John Ross, August 2013 - Dr. John Ross, a Nova Scotia physician, was engaged by Interior Health in the spring of 2013 to provide a review of emergency services in the Kaslo area.
